I know, I know, Meepen. You don't like C4. But it is an integral part of TTT to lay down traps, confuse players to set them off or distract them until they go off. Also, with it in the game, detective rooms could be opened again. Also, as proof that C4 is great, here is a couple other things.

also, the reason i don't like c4 is because of how uninteractive and unfun it is on many maps and for many players. I have no problem with explosions, just with explosives that are too situational but powerful enough on some maps to delete everyone like c4 with little to no interaction from other players.

for example, i never really liked mine turtles as well but not to the degree i didn't like c4; you can sometimes have a way to avoid or remove them without risking your life but some places it's so strong that you will likely die either way, for example at the top of an elevator or something.

breaching charges are fine, SLAM (HL2) is ok-ish (given that it has enough warning and a way to stop it from instantly killing you without interaction (such as some way to tell it is there before rounding a corner and with the right equipment like a grenade could disarm it)

bombs that attach to players have very tricky rules and allow for friends to easily ghost or metagame which could cause problems for moderators

Tripwire is also likely fine as long as it needs a minimum length (such as a wider doorway)

Baby Nade is just a bigger grenade which is likely fine as well.

C4 can easily be heard and avoided (imo), its main purpose is getting people in places like the detective rooms but I am sure there would be a way to lower the explosion radius so it won't wipe half the map on McDonalds for example. I agree that a mine turtle infront of an elevator is annoying but then again, innocents outnumber the traitors 3:1. In normal TTT, traitors need to set up clever traps like that to take out innos without being revealed so they can win. As it is, Pluto TTT is like an advanced team deathmatch more then ttt because of all the missing opportunities and the vast majority of maps we have in rotation having few to no traps in them. So as a T, you either have a gun strong enough to mow down a room of people or need to catch people on their own and kill them fast enough that they can't kos you. The only other alternative is sniping which you can't do on most maps either.

I'd agree that something like the exploding pidgeon is annoying as hell since there is basically no way to avoid it, it can be thrown from across the map and it can just instakill multiple people if they are close enough but the C4 has a loud, annoying beeping noise which makes it harder to get killed by it then not from my experience.

Sticky bombs could possibly be abused, sure, but ghosting people are smol brain. If it turns out to be an actual problem, it can still be removed. Same for the C4.

Something I don't know exists that would also be fun could be shaped charge style explosives, think of a breaching charge but it only detonates on the other side of the room, maybe make it so it has to be detonated by being close to it or make it very large, it would help with D rooms without being too much of an issue otherwise

RSB's are really fun, the only problem is that you can accidentally kill your buddies with it.
